Tin Zanic graduated from the National Film and Television School (NFTS) with an MA in Fiction Directing as a scholar of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. Before attending NFTS, he completed a BA in Film and Theatre Production at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. His short films Antiotpad (2020) and Manjaca (2014), and Komba (2011) received awards and special mentions, and were screened at film festivals such as the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Clermont-Ferrand international Short Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Rencontres Internationale, Sarajevo Film Festival, Hamburg International Film Festival, and Zagreb Film Festival.
