  • Things many eyes have seen

Yannick Mosimann Switzerland, Mystery, Essay, English, 00:25:00

A flickering diary of time, memory, and erosion, «Things Many Eyes Have Seen» unfolds over a month on an island. Hand-processed in salty seawater, its 16mm images dissolve and transform. The landscape flashes by in broken frames of light and shadow, as if the world itself was stuttering between memory and motion. A meditation on seeing and being seen, the film lingers like a fading dream, where observer and landscape blur into one.

  • Wounded edges

Yannick Mosimann Switzerland, Experimental, English, 00:18:00

In July 2022, a forest fire broke out on Monte Gambarogno in Ticino, Switzerland. Dry conditions and strong winds fueled the flames, which spread quickly across the steep terrain. More than 200 hectares of forest were destroyed. WOUNDED EDGES is a personal, poetic response to the 2022 forest fire on Monte Gambarogno in Ticino. Shot on 16mm film and hand-developed with the forest’s ashes, each frame carries the physical memory of the burned landscape. Layered with sound textures made from field recordings, fire, and musical improvisations with charred wood, the film captures the forest’s wounds and resilience. It reflects on impermanence, human impact, and the transformation of a damaged land.

  • ghosting mother

Bernard Mescherowsky Germany, Experimental, English, 00:16:00

In ghosting mother, personal mourning rituals and processes of scanning and development intertwine to create a search for traces in the manifestations of memory. Starting from the destroyed grave of my mother, a search begins for the remaining apparitions. A mourning ceremony, a movement of remembrance, attempts at resuscitation. ghosting mother works with methods of autofiction and deals with questions of grief and its ritualization in bourgeois catholic contexts in an experimental documentary form. The self-developed 16 mm film reflects in its own materiality and its damage the failed attempt to record what has been lost.

  • Beyond the Facade

    Eyup Kus Austria, Experimental, 00:04:35

In 'Beyond the Facade', Eyup Kuş presents an experimental film in which his atmospheric music combines with visual elements to create a sensory journey that blurs the boundaries between sight and sound. A poignant commentary on the climate crisis reflects the fleeting nature of human experience and symbolically melts like the glaciers of the Alps.

  • Blackmuck

    Tin Zanic Croatia, Experimental, 00:12:00

An immersive descent into a nightmarish landscape-what fever dreams feel like, not just what they look like. A cinematic adaptation of a night terror: a video collage of vivid imagery, a noxious atmosphere, and disjointed connections stripped of human logic. An apocalyptic fable of a virus from beyond the stars - one that fell from above, only to watch us from the earth. It used what we cherished most to dismantle our world. And now we ask: Did we ever deserve anything better?

  • Subharmonics

Marcell Mostoha Denmark, Hungary, Experimental, No Dialogue, 00:04:59

Exploration in the unconscious where everything is connected, nothing is determined and the emphasis is on the ever-changing. In a naturally altered state of consciousness, the boundaries of time and space dissolve. Sounds become visible, forms audible. Deeper focus offers more: connections of tones and undertones linked to visible forms and their mirrored reflections – periodically interacting with each other.
