Miguel and his family are preparing to emigrate from Cuba to Italy where part of his family is already living. While they wait, they begin to take the first step in the life of every migrant: learning the language of the country they want to go to.

A harsh, callous environment, a forest covering the mountain slopes and the thunderous crash of falling trees, interrupted only by the heavy breathing of horses. In these conditions, the relationship between humans and animals is put to the test. Where is the line between exploitation and humane treatment? How do we define our place in the natural world? This film certainly does not provide clear answers.

A little girl who grew up surrounded by family and friends suddenly falls into a space that only she can enter. A poignant commentary on the climate crisis reflects the fleeting nature of human experience and symbolically melts like the glaciers of the Alps.

A young girl sneaks out of bed one night to discover her dad bent over the piano, pouring his soul into the keys. The powerful bond they form through playing music together lasts a lifetime. After his passing, she honors his memory by playing their song and teaching it to her son, passing the musical bond to the next generation.
