Brute

Peter, a young multidisciplinary artist, faces his most ambitious project to date: sculpting an imposing wooden monolith. Excitement quickly gives way to a devouring anxiety that completely takes over his mind. His reality unravels as the walls of his studio close in on him like a vice... BRUTE is an experimental and fantastical short fiction film, both visceral and poetic in tone. The viewer will follow the protagonist as he slips from reality into the subconscious, entering an altered state where everyday fears, anxieties, and stress take the form of unsettling creatures.
