The story of "Snake Soup" follows a soldier on his way to the battlefield, whose encounters along the way become the foundation for his blissful imagination. After a devastating explosion on the battlefield, his vivid recollections of the past intermingle and culminate in a delirious haze.

Zack Demirtshyan is an Armenian artist, printmaker and Animation film director. He holds a master’s degree from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, specializing in graphic art, and is a graduate of the exchange program with the Ecole Supérieure d’Art et de Marseille Méditerranée. Demirtshyan’s stylistic approach features surrealistic, highly expressive and sometimes fantastic motives. Zack Demirtshyan has several solo exhibitions and took a part in many group exhibitions in both Armenian and abroad. Among the more popular Armenian releases of recent years are his digital illustrations of George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”,Franz Kafka’s “Metamorphosis”, and “Yerevan Sketchbook”. Zack Demirtshyan is a member of the Artist Union of Armenia.In 2025, Zack Demirtshyan completed his first short animated film, Snake Soup, which had its world premiere in the competition program of the Annecy Animation FF.
