Director Jinuk Choi

Jinuk Choi is a Korean filmmaker based in Seoul. He earned his BFA in Design from Seoul National University and an MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts in New York. His thesis film, Beyond the Line, was nominated for the College Television Awards and received a Special Award at the Bucheon International Animation Festival. In 2023, he created his second animated short, Hair Universe, which was selected and awarded at multiple festivals, including the Jury’s Special Award at SIGGRAPH Asia 2023. Empty Can is his third short animation.
