Héron wants nothing more than to be seen for her hard work and her perfectionism. However, just before a big performance, her long-time dance partner is suddenly replaced: Héron now finds herself with a new dancer – Celeste – by her side. Celeste is the exact opposite of Héron: inexperienced, free-spirited, and completely undisciplined. In her attempt to defend her position in the ensemble, Héron is increasingly confronted with her own limits – and with the question of how much of herself she is willing to sacrifice for the choreography.

In doing so she also explores her own relationship with the outdoors and how its impacted a long battle with debilitating anxiety. This film was made by an entire female crew from the director, mountain guides through to all post-production.
