Sara Grgurić (1998, Rijeka) is a film director and screenwriter with a Master’s degree in Film and TV Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She is the author of several award-winning short films, including "In the Woods", which screened at over 40 international festivals (San Sebastián IFF – NEST Award winner, Encounters, Sarajevo, Santa Barbara, Poitiers). She was selected for the Linz Talent Academy and Talents Sarajevo (Directors Summit). Her work blends folklore, community, and intimacy across both film and photography. She is currently in postproduction of "PANIC!", a hybrid short exploring the form and rhythm of a panic attack, and in preproduction of the "Wild Boar", a short fiction film rooted in the carnival traditions of her homeland. She is also currently writing her debut feature "Cold Winter", supported by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre.
