Simon Barr is a primarily a wedding filmmaker from the northwest of Ireland, now turning to the world of independent short documentaries. With his debut film - The Last of the Hand Weavers, he has been selected to screen at several festivals and recently won the prestigious “Consulate of Ireland Chicago" Award at the 26th Chicago Irish Film Festival.
