A flickering diary of time, memory, and erosion, «Things Many Eyes Have Seen» unfolds over a month on an island. Hand-processed in salty seawater, its 16mm images dissolve and transform. The landscape flashes by in broken frames of light and shadow, as if the world itself was stuttering between memory and motion. A meditation on seeing and being seen, the film lingers like a fading dream, where observer and landscape blur into one.

As her island home is abandoned to the sea, Rebecca refuses to evacuate, certain her missing son Fergus is still alive. Haunted by grief and convinced an ancient power stole him in revenge for her husband Callum’s sins, Rebecca descends into obsession. When Callum abandons the island to save himself, Rebecca turns to a forgotten shrine and offers him as a sacrifice in exchange for Fergus’s return. By dawn, Callum lies dead upon the shore, while the mysterious Mither emerges from the mist beside a strangely older Fergus. Reunited at last, mother and son escape the cursed island together.
