The Call for 5th ITP Conference is open!

The Call for 5th ITP Conference - SHORT FILMS, BIG QUESTIONS: FESTIVALS, POLITICS, AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT - is open for applications and papers!
 
As part of the FILMER FORGE industry program, since 2019 IN THE PALACE International Short Film Festival is organizing an interdisciplinary scientific conference on the short film. It was launched under the title THE SHORT FILM: A Genre Sui Generis – themes, trends and perceptions – and is taking place annually during IN THE PALACE festival week. 
 
In 2026 the conference is dedicated to the topic of SHORT FILMS, BIG QUESTIONS: FESTIVALS, POLITICS, AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
 
ITP Conference aims to create an interdisciplinary space, bringing together filmmakers with young and established scholars from the fields of film, literature, and related disciplines to explore and enrich the study of short film.
