Daniel Cortés has studied Film Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany, as well as the Master in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He specializes in cinematography and screenwriting for fiction and documentary. His first short film Quixot D'alella was premiered at BAFICI. In his personal work he focuses on themes such as migration and experimentation in the form of non-fiction cinema and at the same time he combines his creative work with his work as an independent producer of short and feature documentaries.
