Me and You and Smoke

Rachel is an animation director and multidisciplinary artist. Her artistic research focuses on expressive movement and its use as a storytelling device. She studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where she explored printmaking, video and choreography. After creating her own work, curating exhibitions, and teaching art to children and adults, Rachel pursued animation as her primary medium of expression. She graduated from the National Film and Television School with an MA in Directing Animation, where she completed her hand-painted animated film, Me and You and Smoke. Her films tell multilayered stories in a sincere way with a touch of improvisation, imagination, and humour.
