Andrey Koulev is a producer, director, screenwriter, and artist. He was born in Sofia. In 1996, he graduated in Film Directing from NATFA. Since 2011, he has been the Art Director of the World Festival of Animated Film, Varna. In 2016, he was a guest professor of animation at Jilin University in Changchun, China. Since 2025, he has been a lecturer in Animation Directing at New Bulgarian University. His films have won numerous awards at international film festivals.
