Tristan Aymon was born in 1986. He graduated from the Ecole
cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2010, directing his graduation fiction short film Ultima Donna, which received various European festival awards. In 2012, he co-founded the filmmakers’ association Terrain Vague, which has produced all of his short films: Off the Road (Sortie de route, 2013, co-directed with David Maye), The Lesson (La Leçon, 2016) and Trou Noir (Black Hole, 2020). They all premiered in the “Pardi di Domani” section of the Locarno Film Festival.
