PITCHING
IN THE PALACE Pitching refers to filmmakers, writers and producers who seek producing, co-producing, funding, and development opportunities for their current or upcoming short film.
It includes an educational module on how to pitch a film project led by national and international facilitators; film projects pitching session; and formal and informal industry meetings.
The initiative gets together previously selected filmmakers and producers from different countries who seek producing, funding, and development opportunities for their current or upcoming short film projects. Each project team/representative have a fixed time to present their project and answer questions raised by the panel and the audience. The competition is focused on the originality of the concept, the artistic and production potential of the project, and on how convincing was the pitch itself.
STRUCTURE
Each project team/representative will have up to 7 minutes to present their project.
The order, in which the representatives pitch their projects, will be randomly selected.
Every project, in each phase, must be pitched in English!
PHASE 1: PITCHING TRAINING
PHASE 2: PITCHING SESSIONS
