AD CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CONTEST DESCRIPTION
The AD CONTEST is a competition organized by KRES advertising agency („the Organizers”), in which entrants shall compete by submitting their videos or/and print ads („work”) on Palace Film Fest’s („Sponsor’s”) website in compliance with the Terms and Conditions described hereunder („T&C”).
CONTEST ELIGIBILITY
1. The contest is open to people aged eighteen (18) and up.
HOW TO ENTER
2. First register to participate, thereby becoming an eligible Entrant. Registration is free and available through Film Palace Fest website at: www.inthepalace.com
3. As part of the registration process, Entrants shall be required to (A) submit the information required; and (B) unconditionally agree to be bound by (i) these T&C, (ii). The decisions of the Organizers shall be final and binding in all respects. Limit one registration per person and per e-mail address.

5. Once read, create your own video or/and print ad for Film Palace Fest. Entrants shall create a print visual or/and a short video to communicate the message of the brief. The length of the video should be between 30 seconds and 1 minute. The video should be HD video format. Entrants shall not interpolate or otherwise include any materials owned or controlled by third parties.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIDEO
6. Once you have completed registration for the contest, submit your work by uploading it at www.inthepalace.com. You must complete the registration process and send your work not later than the Submission Deadline.
7. To be eligible, entries must comply with the contest rules and any submissions must be completed and received on or by March 25th, 2010, 24:00.
CONDITIONS OF CONTEST ENTRY
8. The submitted work may not contain, as determined by the Organizers, in their sole discretion, any content that:
(a) Is sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic;
(b) Promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous;
(c) Is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
(d) Defames, misrepresents or contains disparaging remarks about the Artist, Sponsor, or their products or other people, products or companies;
(e) Contains trademarks, logos or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or phraseology) owned by any entity other than Artist;
(F) Contains copyrighted materials owned by any third party (including photographs and other works of art or images);
(g) Advertises or promotes any brand or product of any kind;
(h) Contains any personal identification, such as personal names, street or email addresses, or phone numbers of any person or entity;
(i) Violates or encourages the violation of any law, rule or regulation;
(j) Contains materials embodying the names, likenesses or other indicia identifying any person other than the Artist, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead;
(k) Promotes any particular political party, agenda or message; and/or Communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive image and/or goodwill to which the Artist wishes to associate.
9. Each Entrant warrants and represents that (i) he/she owns all rights to the work he/she is submitting, (ii) the work is original and have been legally obtained and created. By submitting a work to this contest, the Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless claim or cause of action arising out of such work Entrant’s participation in the Promotion.
10. All Organizers and Film Palace Fest’s trademarks and logos are protected. All rights of the producer and the owner of the logo are reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this logo are prohibited.
DISQUALIFICATION
11. At any time during the contest, the Organizers reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any work for any reason.
12. The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entries which use uncleared samples.
13. Any breach of the terms and conditions may result in disqualification of the affected visual or video and the disqualification of the Entrant from participation in the contest.
WINNER SELECTION/PRIZE ANNOUNCEMENT
14. Two (2) weeks after the submission deadline, the Organizers will inform the winner which is selected. Decisions of the Organizers are final, no substitutions will be available.
PRIZE
15. The winner of the poster contest shall receive FIVE HUNDRED Euro (€500.00). The winner of the TV contest shall receive ONE THOUSAND AND FIVE HUNDRED Euro (€1500).
PRIVACY
16. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which the Organizers and Film Palace Fest may deem appropriate.
RIGHTS GRANTED BY THE ENTRANT
17. The Entrant grants to the Organizers and Film Palace Fest the rights and license to exploit, exhibit, show, market and distribute the visual or/and the video in any platform, for the maximum term of copyright protection, for the entire world and for any direct or indirect use or exploitation, whether commercial, informational or otherwise. This license is granted free of charge.
18. The Entrant will not exploit, or allow others to exploit, the visual or/and video created by the Entrant without obtaining the prior written approval of the Organizers.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
19. Neither the Organizers nor Film Palace Fest shall be liable for any computer, online, telephone transmission or technical malfunctions that may occur during participation in the contest or any contest-related activity (including, without limitation, the voting phase of the contest), or for theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, posters/videos. The Organizers and Film Palace Fest assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing (including, without limitation, any such problems which may result in the inability to access the Film Palace Fest’s website or to submit print or/and video in connection with the Contest).
TERMINATION
20. The Organizers reserve the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
GOVERNING LAW
21. The contest is governed by and subject to the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
