Synopsis: Against the backdrop of a cornfield near Oswiecim, Poland, 95-year-old Holocaust survivor, Reuben Thau, struggles to recall stories he has told and retold for years about his experiences as an Austrian Jew during Word War II. With a sense of sadness and slim hopes for future generations, Thau wrestles with memory, resentment, and the loss of his family.

An independent filmmaker, writer, and installation artist from Vancouver, Canada. She has organized and curated various festivals and screenings in her home city. Her films contribute to the genre of first person non-fiction experimental documentary; they explore issues of personal identity, corporeality, intentional and unintentional gesture, trauma, and memory.
