Born in 1974 in Berlin. In 1995 started working as assistant editor in Hamburg-based commercial production company HKF, while teaching himself photography, lab-work and basic cinematography skills. At present Marten is working on various ongoing film projects, some more related to cinema and some documentarian, while still directing commercials and clips.
