Elisabetta started her professional life as a photographer. Her first steps into the movie world were as a continuity and assistant director for short and feature length films. Between 2003 and 2005 she worked with the directors Abbas Kiarostami, Jane Campion and Fernando E. Solanas. Her shorts Servizio Giardini and Baiano won several awards at international film festivals, among which a special mention at the Globo d’Oro 2003-2004.
