Before going to the Dutch Film Academy in 2003, Leyla Everaers has studied Graphical Design in Rotterdam for four years. In 2006 and 2007 she worked as an assistant director for several feature films (including Oliver Etc., Kan door huid heen and Taartman) and is working on her own projects, including another film she directed for the Dutch Film Academy.
