commercial and music It , Mon, 14:00
France/UK, 2007, 3min 22sec
Director: Leo Bridle
Synopsis: The emotive lyrics of Emily Loizeau's song Jalouse are brought to life in an imaginative fairground world, where Emily lives and works inside a carousel with her boyfriend. When the boyfriend's old flame, Adele, arrives and sets up her fancy new space rocket ride next door to the couple's old steam machine Emily's jealousy of the girl grows until she overheats!
The video is a combination of live action and animated backgrounds influenced by Eastern-European folk art and vintage tin toys, creating a surreal and theatrical stage for the characters.
Director: Leo Bridle
He first started making stop motion films at the age of 17, entering competitions and short film festivals with some of them. These had some success in small film and video festivals in the UK and Europe, and even won a few nice prizes, but it has been thanks to the internet that he continued to find opportunities for projects and exposure for his work. Currently he is signed to Third Floor Productions for commercial representation in the US, and LDM Productions (commercials and virals) and Narcisse Films (music videos) in France.
