Synopsis:
A young man wants to live the Finnish dream, but the dreams are in danger of being crushed under the wheels of society’s urbanization. A thoughtful, autobiographical study on the relationship between Finns and water.
Director: Ilkka Rautio
Born in 1979 in Oulu, northern Finland. Before studying Culture, Arts and Photography in Finland and Estonia, he was a tourist guide and a sailor. Afterwards, he worked as a TV, video art, short film and documentary editor. Currently, he works as a filmmaker, a film editor and a ski instructor.
