Born in 1976. An alumni of Pune’s Film and Television Institute. He is known for his work prior to his debut feature, consisting of well-received documentaries and shorts, including The Grinding Machine (2005), which won many national and international awards. His films are deeply rooted in his culture and yet have universal essence and the present day world vision.
