For many years Urs looked after his aging mother. But now he sets out on a dangerous journey: He carries her up a mountain to find a better place for both of them. But his mother doesn’t want to leave her home...
Director: Moritz Mayerhofer
Born in 1981, decided early to do films. After many years of joining a scholar film group he successfully applied for his studies of Animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in 2003. In 2005 Moritz was a jury member of Zlín International Filmfestival (Czech Republic) and Roshd International Filmfestival (Iran), and was invited as a speaker at FMX 2006 and Computerspace Forum 2007. To learn more about animation, design and layout, he participated in an exchange program at le Gobelins, Paris. Urs is his graduation film.
