London-based filmmakers Luke Seomore and Joseph Bull often examine hidden lives at the margins of contemporary British society. Born and raised in Essex they met at art college in East London, their debut short "Male Caucasian" premiered at Raindance in 2002, while their second short, "Lost & Found", premiered at Edinburgh film fetsival in 2006. The haunting story of modern day nomad Jim Lee, it waspiced together from recovered Super 8 footage collected acress the UK. Dazed & Confused magazine described it as "15minutes of cinematic poetry...a dreamlike slice of British life". They have directed and produced critically acclaimed 3 Minute Wonder series for Channel 4 including "Handsworth Conversations" in 2007, a portrait of life in the evolving community of Handsworth, and "SShorelines in 2008, which tackled the plight of African migrants attempting the perilous journey from West Africa to the Canary Islands, Luke Seomore composes the atmospheric, original soundtracks to their work.

They have directed numerous music videos including Duffy's iconic "Rockferry" video, and directed documentaries chronicling a diverse range of musicians from Tricky to the Last Shadow Puppets.

"Isolation" is their feature documentary debut and it is officially for Edinburgh International Film Festival'09.
