Synopsis: December, the 25th. A hanged up man tries to remember the previous night's events of a Christmas's Dinner. He asks his wife what he did and what he talked about that he doesn't remember at all. For his astonishment, he discovers that he almost only talked about a Christmas's Even once lost in his memories. In a kind of journey into his self through an evasive, enigmatic, mysterious and poetic dialog with his wife, he rescues his own childhood and revalues his present.

Rene was born in São Paulo in 1976 where he grew up. In 1998 he went to college at “Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado – FAAP”, majoring in Cinema and graduating in 2002. His first project as a director was a 5 minute short film called “Take a Ride”. Still in college, he started working as a producer in a TV series for children called “Zuzubalandia”, after that he worked as a boom operator and sound recordist in some films. As a sound recordist and boom operator he already made 10 films and more than 20 short films. In 2002, he shooted his college graduating project: a short film called “Clovis Square”, (35mm; duration: 10 minutes). This film was selected to several film festivals such as: Primeiro Plano de Juiz de Fora Festival, São Paulo Short Films Festival and Rio de Janeiro University Film Festival. In 2005, he shooted his second short film, made in 35mm, “Living in the third World”. Originally made in DVCam and the final copy in 35mm. This film was also selected to several festivals such as 13th. Vitória Film Festival, 20th. Mostra do Audiovisual Paulista and 10th. Tiradentes Film Festival. In 2006, he shooted his third short film called “Documentary 2” based on a Brazilian film which is an invitation to filmmakers to shoot their own projects. In 2009, he finished his fourth short film, called “Hangover” (35mm, duration: 10 minutes).Now in 2010, hes producing your new short film called: Black Mask, with the prize of the culture secretary of the São Paulo State.
