Synopsis: The documentary “The Nasca Plain” is an attempt at revealing the secret of the pictures and geometric figures of the Nazca Plateau in Peru, which can be seen only from bird’s-eye view, as well as a story about Maria Reiche’s work – a remarkable woman, who dedicated 40 years of her life to study them.

Simeon Idakiev graduated in Bulgarian Philology at “Saints Cyril and Methodius University” in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He has worked in the Bulgarian National Television since 1974. Simeon Idakiev is an author, director and cameraman of over 500 documentaries integrated in the rubric “One man, on camera”, filmed during his journeys in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Antarctic. Since 1985 he has been producer and presenter of ATLAS – one of the most prestigious educational and scientific rubrics of BNT, which on the 6 October 2010 will celebrate its 42nd anniversary since its creation.
