Synopsis: A man. A woman. A bridal gown. This is a sacred night. A wedding night. He is a handsome and remarkable man, she is a youthful and striking woman. The couple cross the threshold of a small hotel room and create an alternate reality for themselves, as if the world outside ceased to exist. The fallout of that night will be engraved in their hearts for eternity…
Director: Itai Raziel
Wedlock is Itai Raziel's first short film as a director. Itai (34) is a graduate of the University of Tel Aviv's film school (Israel). For over a decade, Itai has been working as a cinematographer for Israeli television and the Israeli film industry. His work includes dozens of films, several of which participated in international festivals and won significant prizes ("Paper Dolls", "F***d Up Generation", "Out of Focus" and more) Wedlock is Itai's first project as a director and as such is a mature composition. This is a small and precise film that generates many emotions and thoughts, a hypnotizing combination of the sacred and sacrilege.
