Synopsis: This is the fantastic story of Marina, 38, a fisherman’s wife in Nuquí (Chocó, Colombia), a small town in the Colombian Pacific Coast, who lives in a humble house besides an immense and isolated beach in Chocó. One day she wakes up sadden by a dream she just had the night before and decides to go to the open sea, alone, amidst the rain, taking with her just a small boat and the fish her husband had caught that day, to put them back in the sea, giving them back their life and freedom.
Director: Carlos Hernández
Film and TV director graduated from the Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, in 1993, also studied Social Comunication at the Universidad Externado de Colombia (1990). Specialized in Scriptwriting and Directing at the Escuela de San Sebastián (1994), having taken several courses in different audiovisual fields he has worked not only as director and scriptwriter but also as photographer, cameraman, editor and professor.
